Ports America Announces Senior Management Changes

– Ports America has recently announced that the company’s Senior Vice President of the Gulf Region, Dave Morgan, will be moving to Savannah, GA to take on the role of Senior Vice President of the South Atlantic Region. Morgan was promoted to SVP in May 2005 after serving as Port Vice President for the New Orleans/Baton Rouge operation for more than two years. Prior to his executive positions, he held a variety of operating management positions within the company including Terminal Manager, Stevedoring Manager and AVP-Operations.

Terry White, the current Port Vice President for New Orleans, LA and Gulfport, MS terminals, is being promoted to the now vacant SVP position in the Gulf Region. White joined Ports America as Port Vice President in 2005. He has over 20 years of experience in ocean transportation, terminal operations and crane procurement and maintenance.

Ports America provides terminal operations and stevedoring services at ports throughout the U.S., and Mexico and South America. The company is headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey.
