Star Loss for Q3

The Star Cruises Group, parent company to Norwegian Cruise Line and Star Cruises, has posted a loss of $21.3 million on revenues of $733.7 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2007, compared to net income of $60.4 million on revenues of $688.6 million for the same period last year. Star attributed the result to a $41.7 million currency debt translation loss. Operating income was $78 million this year, compared to $82.7 million last year.
