Intercruises Establishes Asia Regional Headquarters

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, one of the world’s leading ground handling partners serving the cruise industry, is expanding its operations into the Asia Pacific region to provide seamless shoreside port handling services of consistent quality to cruise lines operating throughout the region.

Intercruises will base its regional operations in Singapore, Asia’s busiest cruising port and the Asian base port for three of the world’s leading cruise lines, and will expand to cover ports in China and Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia an d Brunei over the next eight months.

The expansion comes one year after Intercruises’ parent company, UK-based First Choice Holidays PLC, acquired the Pacific World Network, one of Asia’s leading inbound travel management companies. Intercruises will build on Pacific World’s 32 years of experience in regional cruise handling, while instilling its own Intercruises team structure and operations.

Intercruises provides comprehensive and complementary shoreside services for cruise lines, delivering turnaround services such as passenger meet-and-greet, airport transfer and pier check-in at ports of embarkation and disembarkation, plus shore excursions and VIP tours at ports of call along cruise itineraries.
