Princess Resignation

Phil Kleweno, who has served as president of Princess Cruises since June 2001, abruptly resigned on Feb. 28. A spokesperson for Princess confirmed Kleweno’s departure, and while giving no specific comment on his reasons, she did note that “Carnival Corporation was not involved in the decision” and that “a replacement has not been named.” Following the completion of the merger with Carnival, Peter Ratcliffe is expected to oversee the Princess brand.
