Veracruz Retired

Bermuda Star Line has taken the Veracruz out of service for the remainder of her charter. “It has been determined that the Veracruz requires extensive work and time to keep her in class and in accordance with our standards. Therefore we have decided it would be best to take the ship out of passenger cruise service,” said Bertil Wetter, President and CEO of BSL.

Wetter also said that the company was pursuing a replacement vessel to maintain its operations from the Port of Tampa.
