New Ocean Cruise Lines Ship

The 2000 Corporation, parent company to Ocean Cruise Lines and Pearl Cruises, has announced that it is nearing completion on negotiations for a new Ocean Cruise Line ship for delivery in winter of 1992/93.

The new 600-700 passenger vessel will be yacht-style with above-average sized cabins and have a shallow draft allowing it to visit smaller ports. The 2000 Corporation, together with investors representing Interocean Italia S.A.RL., are building with the benefit of the Italian government’s shipbuilding program.
