New Cruise Line Coming Out of Norway?

Previous reports in the Norwegian press that former Royal Viking Line top executives Warren Titus and Erland Raastad have joined forces with Norwegian financier Atle Brynestad have been confirmed in the placement of a new ship order with the German Seebeck Werft in Bremerhaven. The 200-passenger vessel will be built for approximately $42 million and is destined for the Sea Goddess level of the market. Delivery is scheduled for 1988. U.S. offices are expected to be established in San Francisco. When it enters service, it may be the only cruise ship flying the Norwegian flag.
