Several Norwegian artists have proposed the S/S Norway as the next site of the European Song Contest. If it happens, the three-hour televised event would bring the Norway into an estimated 500 million homes worldwide.
Norway won the contest, for the first time ever, in April, and as a result, will host the next contest, scheduled for Spring, 1986 – around the same time the S/S Norway is expected to return to Bremerhaven for overhaul.
