The Sun Princess is currently sailing to Florida, having started its repositioning voyage to the United States in late October.
The Princess Cruises vessel departed on its 15-night trans-Atlantic crossing from the Port of Barcelona calling at destinations in Spain, including Málaga, Cádiz, Gibraltar and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the United Kingdom.
Upon completing the voyage in Fort Lauderdale on November 21, 2026, the 4,300-passenger ship will kick off a winter season offering cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
The first sailing of the season is a six-night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean that will feature visits to three destinations and call at Carnival Corporation’s private destination of Celebration Key, in addition to stops in Grand Turk and Amber Cove.
The ship is scheduled to offer similar cruises to the region through March 2027, as well as weeklong voyages to the Western Caribbean, featuring visits to destinations including Cozumel in Mexico, Roatán in Honduras and San Juan in Puerto Rico.
Before the repositioning voyage, the vessel spent nearly six months operating its third season in the Mediterranean, which included a series of cruises departing from ports such as Piraeus in Greece, Civitavecchia in Italy and Barcelona in Spain.
The deployment started in April and included visits to destinations including Messina, Italy; Corfu, Greece; Bar, Montenegro; and Kusadasi, Turkey.
After completing its winter season in the Caribbean, the Sun Princess is scheduled to return to Europe for another summer season starting in early April 2027 and running through early November 2027.
One of the newest ships in Princess’ fleet, the Sun Princess was built at the Fincantieri shipyard and entered service in early 2024.
