Revelex, marking its 27th year, has announced the launch of its Revy AI and an interactive 3D cruise deck viewer, designed to simplify cruise discovery and booking.
The enterprise travel technology company said that the new 3D Cruise Deck Viewer helps both advisors and clients navigate the complex cruise booking process.
It gives them unprecedented access to virtually explore ship layouts and visualize stateroom and amenity locations, helping them make more informed decisions.
“As we celebrate our 27th anniversary this month, we’re reminded that longevity in travel technology comes from continually finding better ways to serve an industry that never stands still,” said David Goodis, founder, chairman, president and CEO of Revelex.
“At Revelex, we’ve always believed that technology should make selling travel and planning vacations simpler,” added Goodis. “The launch of these two new products is yet another step toward that goal, and we are excited about their potential to revolutionize the cruise booking experience.”
“We developed Revy AI to make cruise booking more intuitive by bringing smarter, more personalized assistance into the booking process,” said Marco Gomez Van Houten, director of digital experience at Revelex.
The company said in a press release that Revy AI is designed to support both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) experiences.
The new offering works alongside travel advisors and other travel professionals within Revelex’s PowerAgent 5 platform.
Revy AI’s capabilities include the following:
- Users can describe preferences such as destination, departure date and budget to identify relevant sailings, then refine results based on price, dates and cruise line
- Revy AI helps users navigate cruise categories, subcategories, rate codes and other booking requirements
- It can incorporate real-time information, including business rules, operational practices, payment procedures, company information, business needs and target customer profiles, and
- Revy AI supports Revelex’s business-to-business booking environment while extending AI-powered assistance into the consumer-facing experience.
Revelex added that it plans to expand Revy AI’s capabilities beyond its initial focus on ocean cruising, with river cruising up next.
Future development is expected to extend the tool to hotels and additional travel products, including guided vacations, air travel and vacation packages.
The new 3D Cruise Deck Viewer transforms traditional ship deck plans into interactive, three-dimensional representations, allowing users to explore ship layouts, view individual staterooms and compare cabin categories and cruise line offerings, the company said.
