Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a new fly-cruise training module on its online Academy to help travel agents recommend and sell its fly-cruise holidays.
Travel agents can access and complete the new course via the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Academy, the company’s dedicated online training platform for trade partners.
Geoff Ridgeon, head of sales at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “We’re excited to introduce our new fly-cruise module to the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Academy.”
“Our fly-cruise holidays offer a rewarding way to explore the Mediterranean, combining the convenience of flying directly into the heart of the destination with more time to enjoy the region’s rich culture, scenic coastlines and lingering warmth at a quieter time of year, alongside the more personal experience and access to lesser-visited, characterful ports that smaller-ship cruising offers,” added Ridgeon.
“This new module brings all of this together in an engaging and accessible way, helping agents understand the unique appeal of our fly-cruise holidays, communicate these benefits to customers and sell the program with confidence.”
The company said in a press release that the latest module equips agents to sell Fred. Olsen’s 2027 fly-cruise program confidently, which sees the Balmoral explore destinations across the Mediterranean, including the Greek Islands, Italy, Croatia, and the French and Turkish Rivieras.
Through bite-sized modules, agents can explore the benefits of fly-cruising with Fred. Olsen, what’s included in the cruise line’s holiday packages and the destinations and experiences available throughout the 2027 program.
According to the company, the training also offers practical guidance on the flight options available to guests, from Fred. Olsen’s exclusive charter flights, which include transfers, luggage allowances and the reassurance of support throughout the journey, to cruise-only options that offer the flexibility to arrange independent travel.
