AIDA Cruises concluded its 30th anniversary festivities with a concert at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on October 28, 2026.
Alongside the music, the focus was on the company’s commitment to AIDA Cruise & Help, an initiative that works worldwide to improve educational opportunities.
Felix Eichhorn, president of AIDA Cruises, and Reiner Meutsch, founder of the Reiner Meutsch Foundation Fly & Help, announced that the initiative will help fund five new schools worldwide.
Ticket sales alone will enable the construction of two schools, while musicians Mark Forster, LEA and Revolverheld will each support the construction of one school each.
“This evening demonstrates what can be achieved when people work together to create something. Music connects us here in Hamburg today, and with the new schools far beyond,” said Eichhorn.
“We are not only creating places for learning, but also opportunities, perspectives, and a future. My sincere thanks go to our guests, the artists, our partners, our loyal fans and friends for their support on our 30-year journey, and to everyone who supports AIDA Cruise & Help.”
AIDA Cruise & Help was founded in 2019 and supports improved educational opportunities worldwide, particularly in the home countries of many crew members and in regions visited by AIDA ships.
Together with guests, crew, and partners, more than 100 school projects have been funded since, creating over 16,500 school places.
AIDA Cruises has been an official Classic Sponsor of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg since 2025.
The partnership includes the “Around the World” concert series, which showcases musical and cultural diversity from around the globe.
