VidantaWorld Voyages completed its first cruise season earlier this month, wrapping up a series of cruises in the Mediterranean and Western Europe.
The final sailing of the schedule saw the Elegant sailing between Spain and France as part of an open-jaw cruise that departed from Santander.
The farewell cruise of the season came to an end in Honfleur on October 9, 2026, following visits to a series of destinations in the region, such as Bordeaux, Saint-Malo and Rouen.
While no commercial sailings are scheduled for the winter, the 15,396-ton vessel is scheduled to embark on a new series of cruises in April 2027.
The 1990-built ship will resume service in the Mediterranean, offering what the company calls quieter, early-season months.
Extending through next October, the cruise program features visits to ports in Italy, Spain, France, Croatia, Montenegro and more.
According to VidantaWorld, the itineraries take advantage of the ship’s scale, visiting yacht-centric ports such as Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo and Cannes.
Highlights of the deployment include a seven-night cruise to Greece, which will allow guests to experience a total solar eclipse while at sea.
Sailing in August, the special itinerary will put guests directly within the eclipse’s path of totality while sailing between Kalamata and Chania.
The Elegant kicked off its long-awaited inaugural season in April 2026, after undergoing a major refurbishment project.
The upgrade included the reduction of the ship’s guest capacity from 600 to 216, in an effort to create intimate and yacht-like experiences onboard.
Formerly operated by the All Leisure Group, the vessel spent the past months offering itineraries spanning the French Riviera, Spanish Coast, Azores and Portugal, Greek Islands and Adriatic Sea and Italian Shores.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the vessel will remain in Europe through the 2026-27 winter in a “warm layup” on a river in northern France. The off-season will be dedicated to charters and special events.
