Variety Cruises has announced a new Adriatic itinerary launching in April 2027.
The seven-night “Croatia Island-Hopping & Montenegro” itinerary aboard the 34-guest Callisto will operate weekly roundtrip departures from Dubrovnik.
The cruise line said it has designed a slower, more immersive itinerary that combines Croatia’s islands with lesser-known gems including Vis, Lastovo and Mljet, before sailing into the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, creating a two-country experience.
“Whether history, mythology or somewhere in between, these waters have inspired human curiosity for thousands of years,” said Filippos Venetopoulos, CEO of Variety Cruises.
“Our goal isn’t simply to show guests beautiful places—it’s to help them understand the stories, cultures and traditions that continue to shape them today.”
Starting from $2,190 per person, the voyage includes four guided excursions, including Dubrovnik Old Town, Mljet National Park, Hvar and Kotor, as well as local cultural experiences, including wine tastings and cooking or cocktail demonstrations.
Guests get 14 onboard meals showcasing Mediterranean and regional cuisine, with wine, beer or soft drinks included with every onboard lunch and dinner, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the voyage.
Thanks to Variety Swim Experiences, they can dive directly from the ship into secluded Adriatic bays, and take advantage of complimentary kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment.
Optional experiences include evenings spent exploring authentic Croatian taverns called “konobas” and Montenegrin villages.
