Seabourn’s 2029 Summer Season: Return to Egypt, More Northern Europe

  • October 14, 2026
Seabourn Encore

Seabourn has unveiled its 2029 Summer Ocean Voyages, featuring 166 sailings to more than 180 destinations across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada and New England.

Highlights include a return to Egypt for the first time in more than five years, a new seven-day itinerary exploring Sweden and Finland’s Gulf of Bothnia, as well as maiden calls in Northern Europe.

Operating the voyages will be the Seabourn Ovation, Quest and Encore.

“Our 2029 Ocean Voyages collection offers guests more ways to spend meaningful time in the destinations they visit, whether that means an overnight at the gateway to the pyramids of Egypt, exploring new ports in Northern Europe or experiencing Alaska with our Expedition Team,” said Crystal Morgan, senior director, deployment and itinerary planning of Seabourn.

“It also reflects what Seabourn does particularly well: combining access to smaller ports and less-traveled places with the personalized service and onboard experience our guests expect.”

Mediterranean – Return to Egypt

Sailing from March through November 2029, the Ovation’s Mediterranean season offers 21 itineraries throughout the Western Mediterranean, Italy, the Adriatic, the Aegean and beyond.

The cruise line underlined its return to Egypt as one of the highlights, with select voyages featuring an overnight stay in Alexandria, providing guests with time to explore Cairo, the Great Pyramids of Giza and other ancient treasures.

New specialty voyages include Italian Coast & Fireworks Over Corsica and Pyramids & Evening at Ephesus.

In addition, the season will include visits to boutique ports and hidden harbors, including a maiden call at Kapsali on the Greek island of Kythira.

The season will feature Seabourn’s complimentary “Evening at Ephesus,” an exclusive private event that brings guests into the ancient city after hours for a classical music performance among its ruins.

In select ports, guests can join Seabourn chefs ashore for Shopping with the Chef, visiting local markets and specialty food shops to discover regional ingredients and culinary traditions.

Northern Europe – New Gulf of Bothnia Itinerary

Between May and September 2029, the Quest will set sail a range of itineraries exploring Scandinavia, the Baltic, the British Isles, Northern Norway, Iceland and Greenland.

A major highlight is a new seven-day voyage into Sweden and Finland’s Gulf of Bothnia, taking Seabourn farther north in the Baltic, which includes maiden calls at Härnösand, Kemi, Rauma and Oulu.

The season also introduces maiden calls at Alta, and Frøya, while extended and overnight stays in Bordeaux, Rouen, Helsinki, Tallinn, Edinburgh, and Hamburg give guests more time to explore ashore.

Guests will also be able to visit Turku, Finland, during its 900th anniversary year in 2029.

Many voyages can be combined to create journeys of 14, 21, 28 or more days, allowing travelers to experience multiple regions in a single voyage.

Alaska – Return of the Encore

The Encore returns to Alaska in 2029 with a series of seven-day voyages between Juneau and Vancouver between May and September.

Also available are 10- and 11-day itineraries extending north to destinations such as Valdez, Whittier and College Fjord.

Every Alaska voyage includes glacier viewing, while guests seeking a more active adventure can participate in optional Ventures by Seabourn experiences.

Select itineraries will also feature scenic cruising along the coastline of British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, offering opportunities to view whales, orcas and other wildlife.

Canada and New England – Autumn Landscapes

The Quest’s Canada and New England season will feature 12- and 13-day voyages between September and October, showcasing the region’s maritime traditions, French Canadian heritage, coastal communities and autumn landscapes.

Guests will enjoy overnight stays in Boston, Quebec City and St. John’s, along with visits to boutique ports including Gaspé, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, and Prince Edward Island, paired with shore experiences.
