Sixthman has announced Rachael Ray as the newest addition to its “Chefs Making Waves” sailing in 2027.
The culinary vacation will bring together chefs, culinary personalities and food fans for a vacation built around shared meals and chef-led programming, sailing April 20-24, 2027, from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, aboard the Norwegian Jewel.
“Some of my favorite moments have been around a table, sharing good food with great people, and that’s what I’m looking forward to with Chefs Making Waves,” said Ray.
“When you have multiple days together, there’s time to swap stories, talk about what you’re cooking at home and get to know each other beyond a recipe or a demonstration. I can’t wait to join everyone onboard and enjoy some delicious food together.”
Ray will join Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Michael Symon, hosts of the food talk show Chewed Up, alongside Kardea Brown, Tiffany Derry, Duff Goldman and Marcus Samuelsson.
Brown will host “Kardea’s Family Reunion at Sea,” a celebration filled with music, dancing, games and storytelling, while Samuelsson will welcome guests for a special conversation inspired by his newest cookbook, Back to Green: Rediscovering a World of Delicious, Healthy Eating.
Furthermore, Robbie Felice and Giorgio Rapicavoli will take guests behind the scenes of pop-up dining during “Pop-Up Confidential,” and Rapicavoli will also lead “Chops-Fit,” a workout for all ages and experience levels.
To top it off, Joe Isidori will also trade the kitchen for the DJ decks at one of the sailing’s Headphone Dance Parties.
Guests will also get to experience exclusive live tapings of the Chewed Up throughout the sailing, bringing Kelly, Hall and Symon together for recipes, debates and stories.
“This lineup of chefs brings warmth and a genuine love of food that make each of them a great fit for Chefs Making Waves,” said Jeff Cuellar, CEO of Sixthman.
“We want guests to feel cared for and have opportunities to connect with their favorite culinary personalities, and we know that sharing meals and conversations is how that community takes shape. We’re excited to set sail next year!”
