Nicko Cruises has revealed its ocean voyages for the 2028 summer season onboard the Vasco da Gama.
According to a press release, the company will offer diverse itineraries through Northern and Western Europe, visiting destinations in Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea, the Arctic and more.
The deployment was presented by the company’s Managing Director, Guido Laukamp, during a digital press conference.
Ranging from 13 to 23 days, the new voyages are said to offer “numerous opportunities to thoroughly explore the diversity of the Northern Hemisphere.”
“The spectrum spans from the Hanseatic cities and islands of the Baltic Sea, across the Atlantic coast and the British Isles, all the way to Iceland, Spitsbergen, and the North Cape,” Nicko explained.
In line with its “time to discover” philosophy, the company will maintain a focus on smaller ports, varied shore excursions and extended time for onshore experiences.
Nicko said that the new cruises are now open for booking and are detailed in its Ocean Voyages 2028 brochure.
Five additional cruises onboard the Vasco da Gama will be revealed in January 2027, sailing to destinations in the Mediterranean.
The season is highlighted by cruises to the Baltic, with two 13-night voyages departing from Kiel to destinations in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Poland and more in June and July.
A third cruise to the region will be offered in August, calling at destinations that include Gdańsk, Bornholm, Malmö, Copenhagen and more.
The Vasco da Gama will also offer three itineraries to Western Europe, with departures scheduled for May, August and September.
These cruises will sail to the British Isles, as well as the Spanish Atlantic coast, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
Itineraries to Northern Europe include a 23-day cruise to the Arctic, visiting Iceland, Spitsbergen and the North Cape. The Vasco da Gama will also explore the Norwegian Fjords on cruises from Kiel and Hamburg.
