Holland America Line has officially opened the new Beach Club at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, its private island in the Bahamas.
The addition and other recently announced enhancements form part of the cruise line’s preparation for the destination’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2027.
The Beach Club welcomed the Nieuw Amsterdam as the first ship of the season, with Captain Eric van der Wal and Cruise Director Zaid Barrera Abuassi marking the opening with a celebratory toast on October 19.

Priced at $125 per person for the day, the exclusive experience includes priority tendering, dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, beach accessories and specialty food and beverage offerings.
Beyond the Beach Club, the destination got a new food pavilion, upgraded cabanas, additional daybeds and beach seating, renovated bars, plus four pickleball courts.

Guests will be able to experience the newly refreshed island on more than two dozen Caribbean itineraries sailing from October 2026 through April 2027.
