Costa Cruises is promoting new itinerary concepts for sailings in Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean for the winter 2026-27 program.
The six itineraries the company has highlighted three sailings in the Mediterranean, two in the Caribbean and one in the Canary Islands.
The announcement follows the brand’s refocusing of Sea & Land itineraries around a concept that connects sea and land destinations.
Starting in 2027, each cruise will be a concept built around locations and its Sea Destinations onboard programming.
Luigi Stefanelli, vice president worldwide sales at Costa Cruises, said: “In winter 2026-27, we bring together iconic destinations, moments of wonder at sea and ashore, and different travel styles, fully in line with the Sea & Land Wonder Platform. The result is holiday experiences with an ever-clearer identity that are ever more relevant to our guests,” added Stefanelli.
Mediterranean
There are three itineraries in the Mediterranean. Aboard the Costa Toscana, “Iconic Mediterranean” sails to Rome, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Palermo.
Aboard the Costa Pacifica, “Mediterranean Soul” takes guests into Barcelona’s Ramblas, the souk of Tunis (La Goulette), the streets and San Gregorio Armeno in Naples and the Ballarò market in Palermo.
“Exotic Mediterranean” spans two continents, from Andalusia to North Africa and takes guests to Malaga, La Goulette, Tangier and Valencia.
Canary Islands
Aboard the Costa Smeralda, the “Canary Islands” itinerary features highlights such as volcanic landscapes, black-sand beaches, golden dunes, lush forests and cliffs into the ocean.
Destinations include Lanzarote, Tenerife’s Teide volcano and Fuerteventura.
Costa’s exclusive Sea Destinations include:
- Canary Sea Darkest Spot, at the darkest point of the Atlantic, and
- Atlantis Crest, a marine destination inspired by the myth of Atlantis.
Caribbean
In the Caribbean, the Costa Fascinosa offers two itineraries that show tropical wonder in two different ways.
“Antilles Collection” presents the Lesser Antilles as an archipelago where every island has its own unique identity, so guests discover a new face of the Caribbean every day.
According to the press release, “Caribbean Heart” captures the essence of the Caribbean, with the Dominican Republic at the heart of the voyage.
Costa’s exclusive Sea Destinations and the experiences that celebrate these unique places include:
- Caribbean Sea Darkest Spot
- Guadeloupe Bay
- Catalina Bay, and
- Archipelago Turks & Caicos.
The journey continues after the concepts debut in winter 2027.
The company said that they will also come in summer 2027 with a collection of itineraries in the Western Mediterranean, the Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Europe.
