Clair Global Integration (CGI), the systems integration division of tech company Clair Global, is entering the marine market.
Working across large-scale entertainment systems for the cruise industry, the Florida-based team is led by Mike Lacy, VP of marine, and Jason Kram, operations and project manager.
Lacy brings more than 30 years of experience and is assembling a globally experienced department.
“When Clair approached me about forming a team for the Marine market of its Integration business, I knew it would be a very good fit. Clair excels in the technical engineering disciplines required across several entertainment markets, and this is a very exciting opportunity,” said Lacy.
“Jason and I have worked together for many years previously, and I consider him to be one of the most experienced people in the international shipyard industry.”
According to a press release, their combined experience across design, engineering, architectural coordination, onsite commissioning, system validation and show-support environments will turn entertainment concepts into reliable, high-performing systems at sea.
“The Marine industry is very active in Europe, and thanks to Clair’s footprint, we have quickly become a primary integration partner within the Marine business on the continent. We’re able to leverage existing employees from our European offices, which enables these locations to directly support CGI’s Marine customers on a local and cultural level,” noted Kram.
The company underlined several achievements already under its belt, including becoming a qualified Local Entertainment System (LES) supplier and vendor for Fincantieri and participating in the revitalization of Silversea’s vessels.
