The Celebrity Summit recently sailed from Los Angeles to kick off a repositioning voyage to its winter homeport of Tampa.
Sailing to Latin America, the Panama Canal and the Caribbean, the 17-night cruise departed from California on October 1, 2026.
The 91,000-ton ship is now scheduled to visit destinations in Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica on its way to the Panama Canal.
Following a full transit of the historic waterway, the vessel sails to ports in Colombia, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, including Cartagena, Ocho Rios and George Town.
The Celebrity Summit is then scheduled to kick off its winter season on October 18, 2026, offering the first of a series of itineraries from Tampa.
For the first sailing of the cruise program, the vessel offers a seven-night voyage to the Bahamas and Florida that features visits to Bimini, Nassau and Key West.
The ship is also scheduled to offer weeklong cruises to the Western Caribbean, visiting ports in Mexico and Belize, such as Cozumel, Costa Maya and Belize City.
Other ports set to be visited by the Summit during its winter season include George Town in the Cayman Islands, Progreso in Mexico and Roatán in Honduras, as well as Ocho Rios and Falmouth in Jamaica.
The deployment also includes a visit to New Orleans as part of a chartered jazz-themed cruise scheduled to sail from Tampa in January 2027.
Concluding its deployment in the region, the ship is scheduled to embark on a repositioning cruise back to the West Coast in April 2027.
The Celebrity Summit completed its 25th year of service earlier this year, after originally debuting in August 2001.
Part of Celebrity Cruises’ Millennium class, the 1,950-passenger ship was built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France.
In 2019, the vessel underwent an extensive refurbishment as part of the Celebrity Revolution modernization project.
The renovation introduced redesigned staterooms, reimagined restaurants and upgraded bars and lounges.
