Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas has returned to Australia for its second season out of Sydney.
The 2015-built ship debuted in Australia last year, offering a series of two- to 18-night cruises aimed at the local market.
This summer season, the Anthem will offer 21 itineraries ranging from three to nine nights across the South Pacific and extended 12-night sailings to New Zealand.
“Following an incredible debut Down Under, we’re excited to bring back the award-winning Anthem of the Seas to Sydney for our most action-packed summer yet,” said Gavin Smith, vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean.
“With a variety of short weekenders and South Pacific holidays plus New Zealand adventures, families can holiday in their own way, all with the ease of only having to unpack once.”
Guests can choose from five getaways across Australia’s East Coast, including three- to eight-night cruises visiting Hobart and Queensland, as well as Tasmania.
There are also seven- to nine-night South Pacific escapes visiting Nouméa, New Caledonia, plus Port Vila and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.
For those looking for longer getaways, nine- to 12-night New Zealand cruises explore Picton, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and the fjords of Milford Sound.
Royal Caribbean said it will double down on the Quantum class offering this summer with the Quantum of the Seas sailing from Brisbane on 28 itineraries ranging from three to nine nights across the Queensland Coast and the South Pacific.
This season will see the return of Royal Caribbean’s Wiggly-themed family holidays, with young guests being able to see The Wiggly Friends characters on both ships.
