On October 20, Amex Travel announced the reintroduction of its longstanding cruise program as the American Express Cruise & Yacht Collection.
The announcement was made before the updated program launches online on October 22.
Amex Travel said in a statement that the new name and identity reflect how the portfolio has evolved across premium cruise, yacht and superyacht experiences.
According to the company, the collection includes 20 participating cruise lines and yacht brands.
Its growing yacht portfolio includes The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, which joined in 2024 and now has three yachts; Orient Express Sailing Yachts, which joined in January 2026; and Aman at Sea, which joined in June 2026 ahead of Amangati’s inaugural season in spring 2027.
Newer partners include Virgin Voyages and Explora Journeys, offering distinct, upscale hotel-or-resort-like experiences at sea, the company added, and stated that the reintroduction brings a new identity to that existing offering, while participating partners and card member benefits remain consistent.
More information about the collection is available on the company’s website.
