StarCruises has announced the launch of special four-night roundtrip cruises between Jakarta (via Tanjung Priok) and Singapore aboard the Star Voyager, with departures from Jakarta on March 7 and 11, 2027, and from Singapore on March 5, 9 and 13, 2027.
“We are delighted to offer travelers from Indonesia and Singapore a new way to celebrate the Lebaran festive season, bringing families and loved ones together for a holiday filled with quality time, shared experiences and discovery,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises.
“Guests can enjoy the ease and comfort of a cruise holiday, with halal dining options, live entertainment and plenty of activities to enjoy together. We hope these special sailings will inspire more families in both markets to discover cruising as a memorable way to spend their festive break,” added Goh.
The company said in a press release that the sailings are timed around the “Lebaran” holiday period, a time for family, togetherness and taking a break for Muslims.
During the cruise, families can spend time together over meals, enjoy live entertainment and take part in onboard activities before arriving at their destination, the press release added.
Those sailing from Jakarta can discover Singapore, shopping along Orchard Road, exploring Gardens by the Bay, visiting Sentosa and experiencing the city’s food and family attractions.
The company said the Star Voyager offers a variety of Asian flavors and international dining choices, along with a dedicated halal dining section at the Lido restaurant onboard.
Another advantage of the sailings is that everyone can enjoy the same holiday in their own way: Families can come together for live stage performances, a Red-Carpet Gala evening with the Captain and international entertainers, music and dancing, BBQ parties and spa experiences. Younger guests can enjoy pool and waterslides.
In addition to the two special roundtrip Lebaran sailings from Jakarta, the Star Voyager will offer one-way sailings between Singapore and Jakarta around the March 2027 cruises.
Before the Jakarta sailings begin, guests can take a one-way two-night Cruise from Singapore to Jakarta, departing on March 5, 2027.
Following the final Jakarta sailing, guests can also extend their cruise with a one-way two-night cruise from Jakarta to Singapore, departing on March 15, 2027.
