Seabourn has announced a new 30-day “Amazon Explorer: Rivers & Rainforests” voyage on the Seabourn Quest, sailing roundtrip from Miami from November 18 to December 18, 2028.
The itinerary includes 15 destinations across seven countries and is part of Seabourn’s Ruby Jubilee year celebrating the line’s 40th anniversary.
“The Amazon is one of the world’s most fascinating destinations, offering a sense of exploration unlike anywhere else in the world,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn.
“The Seabourn Quest will take guests into the heart of the Amazon to discover its extraordinary landscapes, cultures and traditions, while delivering the personalized service, thoughtfully curated experiences and intimate atmosphere that define Seabourn,” added Tamis.
The company said in a press release that the voyage will also kick off a season of extended travel aboard the Seabourn Quest.
Following the Amazon sailing, the ship will embark on two 10-day Caribbean holiday voyages before departing Miami on January 7, 2029, for its 138-day World Cruise: Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons.

- Manaus, Brazil: an overnight stay with more time to explore the city’s culture, markets and acclaimed restaurants
- Santarém, Brazil: discovering a destination near the confluence of the Amazon and Tapajós rivers
- Boca da Valeria, Brazil: visiting a small riverside community surrounded by dense rainforest, offering a rare glimpse at the everyday life along the Amazon
- Parintins, Brazil: experiencing the Amazon’s river destinations
- Devil’s Island, French Guiana: exploring a destination known for its dramatic history and remote setting, and
- Gustavia, Saint Barthelemy: the harbor blends Swedish colonial and French Creole architecture with chic boutiques, cafés and restaurants.
