Occupancy at the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection was 51 percent in the second quarter of 2026, down 57 percent a year earlier, as the brand’s capacity grew with the addition of a third ship.
The figures came from parent company Cruise Yacht Upper HoldCo Ltd.’s unaudited interim report for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Available passenger cruise days, which the company calculates on a double-occupancy basis, rose 50 percent in the quarter to 102,102. Passenger cruise days grew 33 percent to 51,566.
Year-to-date capacity for the first half of 2026 increased 55 percent to 208,842 available passenger cruise days against a 47 percent rise in passenger cruise days to 106,104, leaving load factor at 51 percent versus 54 percent in the prior-year period.
The company did not discount to fill the added capacity as the average daily rate per passenger rose 7 percent in the quarter to $1,993 and 14 percent year-to-date to $1,840.
Second-quarter bookings increased 35 percent to $103 million and year-to-date bookings reached a record $237 million, up 46 percent. Returning guests made up roughly 22 percent of those who sailed during the quarter.
