Port Canaveral welcomed TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 1 for a transit call over the weekend, according to an update shared on social media.

“We’re thrilled to welcome a special visitor today, TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 1,” Port Canaveral said in a post from Sunday, September 27, 2026.

The port authority also thanked Duty Harbormaster Annette Crisafulli for sharing pictures of the vessel’s transit call (above)

In addition to the Mein Schiff 1, Port Canaveral welcomed the MSC Seascape, the Norwegian Prima and the Carnival Vista on Sunday.

The TUI Cruises’ ship visit is part of a ten-night cruise to Florida, Virginia and the Bahamas that is sailing roundtrip from Cape Liberty.

Starting with an overnight stay in the Bayonne Cruise Terminal, the itinerary includes visits to Norfolk, Miami and Nassau.

The call to Virginia, however, had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions on North America’s East Coast, being replaced with a new visit to Fort Lauderdale.

Operating a fall season in the region, the Mein Schiff 1 arrived in Bayonne in early September, kicking off a series of 11- to 14-night cruises to Canada, the U.S. and the Bahamas.

The 2018-built ship is scheduled to return to Port Canaveral for two additional transit calls on October 16 and October 26, 2026.

In early November, the 2,900-passenger ship repositions to the Dominican Republic for a winter deployment in the Caribbean.

Sailing from La Romana, the Mein Schiff 1 will offer 14-night cruises to the Western and Southern Caribbean that also allow guests to board in Jamaica.

The itineraries feature visits to destinations in Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica and more.

TUI Cruises returns to Port Canaveral in 2027, with the Mein Schiff 1 scheduled to make three additional transit calls at the destination between October and November.
