MSC Cruises has celebrated the float out of the MSC World Atlantic at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, on September 26, 2026.

Following the milestone, work will continue on her interiors, public spaces and final technical elements at the French shipyard, the cruise line said in a press release.

The 5,400-passenger ship is scheduled for delivery in 2027, debuting from Port Canaveral, Florida, in November 2027.

It will sail alternating seven-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries to destinations including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ private island in the Bahamas.

Set to become the 25th ship in the MSC Cruises fleet, the MSC World Atlantic will also be the fourth LNG vessel in the line’s World Class series.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the ship will have more than 38,000 square meters of public space and 40 bars, restaurants and lounges.
