MSC has announced deployment plans for the MSC Euribia during the winter 2027-28 season.

The ship will offer seven-night Canary Islands and Madeira cruises, while the Fantasia will take over its current seven-night Western Mediterranean program.

The company said in a statement that the deployment reflects the continued popularity of winter cruises in the Canary Islands.

“The Canary Islands are an important part of our winter offering and a program that our guests continue to value highly. Deploying MSC Euribia for winter 2027-28 is a clear demonstration of our commitment to the region and to the continued development of this popular program,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.

“One of the newest ships in our fleet will increase the capacity for this season and bring an outstanding range of experiences to guests while allowing them to discover the distinctive character of the Canary Islands and Madeira.”

Guests will be able to choose from four embarkation ports: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Funchal, Arrecife or Santa Cruz de La Palma.

In addition to visiting Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Funchal in Madeira, Lanzarote and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, there will be a day at sea.

As for the itinerary operated by the Fantasia, sailing round-trip from Barcelona, the ship will call at Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and La Goulette, with a day at sea, offering embarkation at several ports along the itinerary.

Sales for the Euribia’s winter 2027-28 Canary Islands and Madeira cruises, as well as the Fantasia’s Western Mediterranean sailings, will open on September 28.

The Euribia kicked off its Northern Europe season in May, taking guests to explore Norway’s fjords sailing from Kiel and Copenhagen.

Before that, it spent two months stranded in the Arabian Gulf.
