The Margaritaville at Sea Islander sailed from Tampa on Saturday for a ten-night cruise to the Southern and Western Caribbean.

Visiting destinations in Aruba, Curaçao, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, the itinerary will be the longest offered by the vessel this year.

After departing from Tampa, the Islander is spending one day cruising in the Caribbean before arriving in George Town.

The 1999-built vessel will then sail for another day while heading to its next two ports of call: Oranjestad and Willemstad.

Before returning to the ship’s homeport, the itinerary includes three additional days at sea, as well as a visit to Ocho Rios.

As reported by Cruise Industry News, Margaritaville at Sea informed guests in August of an itinerary change for the cruise.

At the time, the company adjusted port days and port times for the planned visits to Aruba and Curaçao, which will now take place in reverse order.

Sailing from Tampa on a year-round basis, the Margaritaville at Sea Islander offers a series of four- to eight-night cruises.

The itineraries include visits to destinations in the Western Caribbean, Florida and the Bahamas, including Cozumel, Key West and Nassau.

The 2,100-guest vessel is also scheduled to offer a one-time longer cruise to the Southern Caribbean in 2027.

As the longest cruise offered by the Islander next year, the ten-night voyage will depart from Tampa in mid-September.

Following a similar itinerary to this year’s cruise, the sailing is set to visit Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Aruba and Curaçao, in addition to a new port of call in the Dominican Republic: Cabo Rojo.
