Explora Journeys just celebrated the homecoming of the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team in Geneva this past weekend, as the high-speed sailing championship returned to Lake Geneva for the Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix held this past weekend (Sept. 19 and 20).
“Seeing the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team race here in Geneva was a particularly special moment for us,” said Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys. “This is where Explora Journeys was born, and our Swiss roots are an important part of who we are.
To see our brand on the F50, racing here on Lake Geneva in front of a home crowd, really brought the partnership to life.”
Geneva is both the city where Explora Journeys is headquartered and also where the team’s F50 catamaran carries the brand’s full livery, according to the company.
The team, led by Swiss driver Sébastien Schneiter, secured its place in Sunday’s final race.
“Racing in Geneva, with our friends, partners and supporters around us, made this weekend incredibly special,” Schneiter said. “We could feel the energy of the home crowd, and it gave the whole team an additional motivation to perform at our best.”
The weekend closed with a private event at La Société Nautique de Genève, bringing together partners, media and invited guests to mark SailGP’s return to the city.
Explora Journeys became title partner of the Swiss SailGP Team earlier in 2026, debuting its fully branded F50 catamaran and crew kit in Bermuda. The team continues its campaign across the 2026 SailGP Championship calendar as one of the youngest teams competing in the series.
