The Queen Elizabeth recently completed Cunard’s last cruise to Alaska, concluding the company’s summer deployment in the region.

Sailing roundtrip from Seattle, the vessel offered a seven-night cruise that also visited Canada, calling at Ketchikan and Victoria.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the sailing had its itinerary adjusted due to required maintenance onboard the ship.

Initially scheduled for September 17, 2026, the departure from Seattle was delayed by 24 hours, forcing the cancellation of a visit to Juneau and planned scenic cruising in Endicott Arm.

The sailing wrapped up a four-month season that started in May and included a series of seven- to 11-night itineraries in the region.

Highlights of the deployment included visits to Sitka, Haines and Wrangell, in addition to scenic cruising through the Inside Passage, Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier.

With all its vessels sailing in Europe and the Atlantic for the summer, Cunard is not returning to Alaska in 2027 or 2028.

The Queen Elizabeth is now offering a repositioning voyage to Miami ahead of a winter season sailing to the Caribbean.

Before transiting the Panama Canal, the vessel will visit destinations in California, Mexico and Guatemala, including Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Quetzal.

The 21-night itinerary will also include calls at two ports in the Caribbean: Willemstad in Curaçao and Oranjestad in Aruba.

Starting in mid-October, the Queen Elizabeth will offer nine- to 12-night itineraries from the Port of Miami, visiting destinations in the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean.

The season in the region runs through early 2027, when the 2,092-passenger ship is scheduled to begin a trans-Atlantic crossing to the United Kingdom.

The vessel will then operate cruises from Southampton before repositioning to the Mediterranean for summer cruises departing from Spain, Italy and Turkey.
