Carnival Cruise Line is testing later hours at Guy’s Burger Joint onboard the Carnival Conquest, according to Brand Ambassador John Heald.

In a recent social media update, Heald said the company is considering keeping the venue open longer.

“A while back we started testing something new on the Carnival Conquest by keeping Guy’s Burger Joint open later into the evening,” he explained.

Heald said the company chose the ship for the test because of its short-cruise deployment.

Sailing from PortMiami, the Conquest offers three- and four-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas.

“We know many guests on those sailings enjoy having more casual dining choices later in the day,” he continued.

“The response has been fantastic. People have really enjoyed being able to grab one of Guy’s burgers for dinner, and because of that we’re looking at whether this might work on other ships in the future as well,” Heald added.

He noted that the new service will not replace traditional dining in the ship’s Main Dining Rooms, which he said remain a special part of the Carnival vacation experience.

“So, if you’re on Conquest and fancy a burger later in the evening, the Guy’s team will be waiting for you,” Heald said.

According to the update, Carnival is also introducing refreshed menus in its main restaurants in response to guest feedback.

Heald said the updates are aimed at better matching guest tastes and preferences.

He also confirmed that Carnival is still serving lobster on all sailings of six days or longer.

Heald, however, said the premium dish is not available in Alaska, Australia and Europe due to sourcing issues.
