Carnival Cruise Line recently adjusted the itineraries of a series of future cruises onboard the Carnival Elation.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the changes affect sailings scheduled for 2026, 2027 and 2028.

Without confirming further details, the company said that port times for Celebration Key have been adjusted for over 50 cruises.

The affected sailings depart from Jacksonville between now and April 2028. In addition to Carnival’s private destination in Freeport, the four-night itineraries also include a visit to Nassau.

Carnival said that pre-purchased shore excursions will be automatically adjusted based on these changes ahead of the cruises.

Sailing from Jacksonville on a year-round basis, the Carnival Elation offers short cruises to the Bahamas that visit Nassau and three Carnival Corporation private destinations.

In addition to Celebration Key, the Fantasy-class ship also sails to Princess Cays and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay.

In related news, Carnival recently made similar adjustments to itineraries onboard the Carnival Conquest and the Carnival Legend.

As reported by Cruise Industry News, the company changed port days and modified port times for itineraries visiting the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

In Australia, Carnival also changed the itinerary of a cruise onboard the Carnival Splendor due to technical restrictions in Cairns.

According to a statement, the ship will not be able to visit the port during its September 9, 2026, cruise due to current channel depths.

The company said that the waterway is currently too shallow to allow for the safe passage of the 113,300-ton vessel.

Instead of visiting Cairns, the Carnival Splendor will now sail to Yorkeys Knob during the cruise, which sails roundtrip from Sydney.

In addition to the new port of call, the ship’s nine-night itinerary also features visits to Moreton Island, Airlie Beach and Willis Island.
