Nearly two years into service, Aroya Cruises is using guest feedback to further improve its product and experience, according to Commercial Executive Director Ala Tashkandi.
“At launch, the priority was to introduce Aroya clearly: the ship, the brand, the onboard experience and the guest promise,” he told Cruise Industry News.
The focus now is shifting to structure the operation with a more consistent and scalable product, he explained. The company is analyzing guest behavior patterns to shape the experience, both onboard and before the cruise.
“After our first season, we could see much more clearly how different guests use the ship, how families structure their day, when and how guests use premium areas such as Khuzama and how dining, entertainment and destination experiences fit together across a sailing,” Tashkandi explained.
“That understanding now informs our programming directly, from themed voyages and destination-led experiences to more tailored onboard concepts for different guest segments.”
He said the company also strengthened its relationships with travel partners and improved how the product is marketed and sold.
That built greater confidence in the company within the travel market and strengthened distribution, Tashkandi continued.
“Separately, we have continued to improve the guest-facing digital journey,” he added, mentioning the launch of a new website.
“It is part of that evolution, giving consumers a clearer, more seamless way to discover Aroya, understand the product, explore itineraries and engage with the brand before they come onboard.”
Tashkandi noted that the company is making “real progress,” no longer introducing something new to the market but “building a repeatable cruise platform with product depth, guest insight, distribution strength and commercial structure.”
