Aroya Cruises is expanding its 2027 deployment in the Mediterranean alongside launching its first winter season in the region.

According to a press release, the company will offer new itineraries from its homeport in Galataport, Istanbul, starting in May.

Key additions include the Aroya’s first overnight calls in Egypt on selected itineraries new ports of call and its first two 14-night voyages.

After introducing homeporting operations earlier this year, the company is also adding Alexandria as a second embarkation port on more cruises.

“Our partners are central to Aroya’s international growth. The breadth and flexibility of this program will help us respond to the needs of different markets and introduce more guests to our distinctly Arabian cruise experience,” said the company’s Commercial Executive Director Ala Tashkandi.

“By working closely with our partners, we can strengthen demand for cruising, create new opportunities across the wider tourism sector and deliver lasting value to the destinations we visit,” he added.

The new summer season will be highlighted by six-, seven- and eight-night cruises to Turkey, Egypt and Greece, featuring the company’s first visits to Nafplion and Antalya.

The program will also include two 14-night cruises, marking Aroya’s debut in the Western Mediterranean and the Adriatic.

Sailing from Istanbul in June, the first voyage will span the Mediterranean from east to west, visiting ports in Turkey, Greece, Italy, Tunisia and Malta, such as Catania, Salerno, Civitavecchia, Cagliari, La Goulette and Valletta.

In July, the Aroya will sail to the Adriatic for the first time on a two-week voyage to Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Italy and Croatia. Ports of call include Katakolon, Sarandë, Bar, Trieste, Zadar, Korčula and Bari.

The longer sailings will feature interporting opportunities in Italy, allowing guests to start or end their journeys in Civitavecchia or Trieste.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the Aroya will also sail its first winter season in the Mediterranean in 2026-27.

Starting this October, the company will offer seven-night cruises from Istanbul to destinations in Egypt and Turkey, featuring overnight calls in Alexandria and visits to Kusadasi and Marmaris.
