AIDA Cruises has put the spotlight on its “Time-Out Voyages,” formerly known as its repositioning cruises, which are on offer in fall 2026 and spring 2027.

The company said in a press release that the rebranding is meant to highlight what makes the longer sailings special: unique itineraries and extended times at sea while traveling between destinations.

The sailings will take guests through Western Europe, across the Atlantic, to Africa, or from the Caribbean to Germany, before returning to Northern Europe homeports.

AIDA added that despite the name change, guests can still look forward to days at sea, shore experiences, onboard wellness areas, a wide range of culinary offerings, sports, shows, workshops and guest lectures.  

The Atlantic

The “Time-Out Voyages” begin on October 25, 2026, with the AIDAbella sailing from Kiel to Barbados.

The return sailing departs on March 27, 2027, and crosses the Atlantic to Northern Europe.

Premium fares start at €3,095 per person based on two people sharing an inside cabin.

The AIDAperla will also cross the Atlantic in the fall and spring, and these itineraries include the Canary Islands. 

Western Europe and the Mediterranean

A 14-day “Time-Out Voyage” aboard the AIDAmar will sail from October 11 to 25, 2026, from Warnemünde to Mallorca.

The itinerary includes stops at A Coruña, Lisbon and Seville, before concluding in Palma de Mallorca.

Fares start from €1,635 per person at the premium fare, based on two people sharing an inside cabin (category IA), including a €300 early-booking-plus discount.

The company highlighted that its pre-Christmas season begins on December 5, 2026, with the AIDAprima’ s 14-day itinerary, “Western Europe Highlights with Morocco.”

The cruise combines the Canary Islands and Morocco with destinations along the western European coast before sailing to Kiel.

Voyages from the eastern to the western Mediterranean are also available, such as from Antalya to Mallorca, or Namibia to Cape Town.

The AIDAstella offers this 29-day “Time-Out Voyage” from October 22 to November 20, 2026.

Additional “Time-Out Voyages” in spring 2027 include itineraries from Gran Canaria via Portugal to Warnemünde, and from Mallorca via Portugal to Hamburg.
