Venini Creates Bespoke Lighting for Explora III

Explora III Venini Lighting

Venini has created four bespoke chandeliers for the new Explora III.

The glassmaker specifically designed the chandeliers for the ship, which feature a floral-inspired motif.

Designed to engage in dialogue with the ship’s interior architecture and elevate the onboard experience, the glass works are in the lobby, where they welcome guests as they step aboard.

Venini said in a press release that the fourth chandelier was crafted using the iconic Balloton technique, one of the most distinctive expressions of Murano’s glassmaking heritage.

According to the press release, each piece is the result of a collaborative design process, where the mastery of Murano’s glassmakers met the vision and requirements of each project.

The project extends throughout other areas of the vessel with a collection of bespoke floor lamps, developed around the same floral concept, alongside Balloton table lamps placed in the lobby to create a harmonious visual language across the interiors, the company stated.
