Tarragona Cruise Port Hosts Triple-Ship Call

Tarragona Cruise Port welcomed three cruise ships on a single day on August 2. 

According to a press release, the ships are the MSC Virtuosa, the Norwegian Dawn and the Viking Star, with the first two ships making their maiden calls at the port. 

The three ships are scheduled to make additional calls at the port throughout the season. 

Throughout the day, a total of 12,508 passengers passed through the Balears Wharf facilities during embarkation, disembarkation and transit operations.  

The triple-ship event brings the port’s seasonal total to 37 port calls and 68,263 cruise passengers since operations started in early April 

Looking ahead, 80 port calls and 160,000 passengers are expected, which is set to be an all-time record for the port.
