Swan Hellenic has reported that July 2026 was its strongest operational month on record.
In a press release, the company shared that July revenue increased 170% year-on-year, powered by demand for polar expeditions and intensifying guest loyalty.
Total growth year-to-date reached 268%, with the latest August figures indicating that the trend will continue.
The company’s core polar portfolio drove two-thirds of this total growth, with Arctic revenue tripling year-on-year, and Arctic guest volumes more than doubling (+125%).
Furthermore, new Asia-Pacific itineraries achieved 373% year-on-year growth, while the latest Africa itineraries also performed well, with growth already at 98%.
“Our team is very proud of these exceptional results. They’re a ringing endorsement of the outstanding discovery experiences Swan Hellenic provides,” said Swan Hellenic chief commercial officer Mario Bounas.
“From our high-end ships to the gourmet cuisine, service and off-the-beaten path itineraries and expeditions our dedicated staff, expedition teams and onboard experts deliver. At the same time, we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our wonderfully enthusiastic and insightful trade partners. We’d like to thank them all.”
The company underlined the following performance highlights:
- Australia, Asia, Europe, UK and North America all posted multiple triple-digit growth.
- Cruise Critic ratings reached 4.7.
- Repeat guest share has more than doubled in the past two years, with a large number enjoying three or more expeditions so far.
- The upcoming Antarctica season is pacing 32% ahead of last year’s performance.
