Star Clippers is expanding its 2027-28 Mediterranean program with the introduction of 27 new ports of call.
The expanded program will introduce guests to hidden islands, historic fishing villages, UNESCO-protected towns and emerging coastal destinations, the cruise line said in a press release.
“At Star Clippers, our guests consistently tell us they want to discover places beyond the traditional cruise circuit,” said Terri Haas, vice president of sales & marketing, Americas, for Star Clippers.
“The addition of 27 new ports of call reflects our commitment to taking travelers beyond the Mediterranean’s best-known destinations while preserving the authentic sailing experience that defines Star Clippers.”
The company noted that the expansion is particularly evident in Greece, including destinations such as Skiros, Skopelos, Karpathos, and Astypalea.
New ports in Turkey include Çeşme, Datça, Fethiye, Kas and Kekova, while along the Adriatic coast, Star Clippers has added destinations including Korčula, Komiža, Trogir and Šibenik in Croatia, as well as Monopoli and Crotone in Southern Italy.
Star Clippers highlighted several itineraries that showcase new destinations particularly well:
- Eternal Cyclades: a seven-night voyage aboard the Star Flyer that explores Aegean’s islands, including Milos, Santorini, Amorgos and Hydra. Fares start at $2,500.
- Authentic Greek Escape: a seven-night voyage aboard the Star Flyer that visits lesser-known Greek islands through visits to Astypalea, Sifnos and other emerging destinations. Prices begin at $2,500.
- Italian Gems: a 10-night itinerary aboard the Star Clipper that combines destinations including Termini Imerese and Vibo Marina with more famous ports such as Lipari, Sorrento and Ponza. Fares start at $3,350.
To celebrate the expansion, the company unveiled a promo enabling up to 65% savings on all sailings, paired with up to $500 per cabin in onboard credit and a complimentary bottle of champagne on select departures booked by September 30, 2026.
