The Regatta is currently offering its farewell voyage for Oceania Cruises ahead of moving to a new operator.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the 684-passenger vessel will sail for Explorations by Norwegian, a brand created by Australian tour operator My Cruises, as part of a charter deal.

For its final cruise under the Oceania brand, the ship departed Dubrovnik on August 17, 2026.

Visiting destinations in Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey, the farewell sailing is set to end in Istanbul on August 27, 2026.

During the ten-night itinerary, the Regatta is calling at Kotor, Igoumenitsa, Katakolon, Santorini, Mykonos, Piraeus, Kusadasi and Bozcaada.

One of the first ships to sail for Oceania, the 1998-built vessel is completing a 23-year career with the brand.

The Regatta will be handed over to My Cruises, the specialist cruise brand of Ignite Travel Group, for year-round world cruises into 2028.

The first voyage sails from Civitavecchia, Italy, on September 1, 2026, calling at 220 ports across seven continents.

The 368-night itinerary will feature visits to destinations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe before sailing around Africa.

The Regatta is then scheduled to sail to ports in the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Far East.

In mid-2027, the vessel will cross the Pacific before visiting destinations in Alaska, the West Coast and Central America.

The cruise continues with a Panama Canal crossing, as well as ports of call in the Caribbean, the Amazon and North America’s East Coast.

The Regatta will then sail to Greenland and Iceland while crossing the Atlantic for visits to the British Isles and Ireland.

With its charter contract renewed for another 365 days earlier this year, the Regatta is scheduled to offer a second year-long world cruise for Explorations by Norwegian starting in late 2027.

In related news, Oceania is withdrawing a second R-class ship from its fleet in 2028, with the Sirena sold to an undisclosed buyer.

The company also plans a major refurbishment for a third ship in the series, the Nautica, which will become the Oceania Aurelia in late 2027.
