MSC Cruises has completed the first phase of a new progressive jackpot system rollout across its U.S.-based ships.

According to a press release, the technology is being added to seven vessels through a partnership with Galaxy Gaming.

The casino table game and technology provider said the installation marks the first progressive table game jackpot system introduced onboard MSC’s ships.

The project includes 30 blackjack tables using the Galaxy Operating System (GOS) platform for a customized progressive jackpot experience.

Before deploying the technology, the companies completed an evaluation period, during which MSC tested the platform’s performance, flexibility and capabilities, as well as the guest experience.

“We are pleased to bring the Galaxy Operating System to our casino floors as we continue to enhance the gaming experience for our guests through innovative technology,” said Burkay Gokgoz, director of casino operations for MSC Cruises USA.

“Integrating solutions such as Galaxy table game progressive jackpots to MSC Cruises’ casinos creates a more dynamic and engaging environment for players. This milestone reflects the strength of our commitment to innovation and guest satisfaction as we bring an elevated gaming experience to guests onboard,” he added.

Greg Stewart, vice president of global sales for Galaxy Gaming, said the milestone follows two years of collaboration between the company and MSC.

“MSC Cruises has an impressive roadmap for growth across multiple regions around the world, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of that journey,” he added.

MSC’s U.S. fleet is highlighted by the MSC World America, which entered service in early 2025 and is currently sailing from PortMiami.

Other vessels sailing year-round in North America include the MSC Poesia, the MSC Seascape, the MSC Seaside and the MSC Seashore.
