Heritage Expeditions has named Meg Murgatroyd as sales director, Americas, adding more than 25 years of travel industry experience to its commercial team.
Based in Toronto, Murgatroyd will lead the company’s sales strategy across Canada and the United States and work directly with travel advisors and industry partners, according to the company.
Heritage Expeditions is busy promoting its 2027-28 season sale for the newly launched Heritage Discoverer.
The company is offering savings of up to 20 percent, plus an additional 10 percent for returning guests, on any bookings made by Aug. 31.
The ship’s inaugural season includes high Arctic voyages to Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland, along with sailings to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
Heritage Expeditions also announced that Toby Nowlan, who is the producer and director of “Ocean” with David Attenborough, will return as a guest guide aboard two of their 2027 voyages,
Nowlan will lead wildlife discussions, host an at-sea screening of “Ocean” and also take part in a question and answer session with guests.
