The Disney Wonder entered drydock in Canada this week for a two-week refurbishment and maintenance project.
Offering a summer season in Alaska, the 1999-built vessel arrived at the Esquimalt Graving Dock in Victoria on August 17, 2026.
The 85,000-ton vessel is expected to undergo class inspections, in addition to technical maintenance and general upkeep.
The Disney Wonder is scheduled to welcome guests back in Vancouver on September 7, 2026.
Resuming its summer season in Alaska, the vessel will operate a seven-night cruise to Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway.
Similar sailings will be offered through the end of September, when the 1,750-passenger ship starts a repositioning voyage to California.
The five-night cruise will sail from Vancouver to San Diego and will include a visit to Victoria, in addition to three days of cruising in the Pacific.
During the 2026-27 winter, the Disney Wonder is set to offer a series of three- to seven-night cruises from San Diego.
The longer sailings visit destinations on the Mexican Riviera, including Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlán, while the shorter cruises sail to Baja California, visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada.
According to the published deployment, the ship is scheduled to return to Alaska for another summer season in 2027.
The Disney Wonder will be joined by the Disney Magic for additional weeklong cruises from Vancouver to a range of ports in the region.
In related news, Disney recently revealed the first details of its new ship class, which will feature three smaller vessels.
The ships will be built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, with deliveries scheduled for 2029 and 2030.
Disney is also getting ready to welcome a fourth Wish-class ship, the Disney Believe, to its fleet in late 2027.
