Disney Cruise Line will reveal details of the Disney Believe later this year, according to a social media update.

In a prepared video, the company said that more information about its next new ship will be announced during a livestream on October 7, 2026.

As the fourth ship in the brand’s Wish-class, the Believe is scheduled to be delivered by the Meyer Werft shipyard in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Disney said that the 140,000-ton vessel will be inspired by “promise, possibility, and what lies beyond the horizon.”

According to Disney Cruise Line’s website, the Believe will feature experiences based on the universes of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

The company also announced that passengers aboard the Disney Wish’s October 5, 2026 cruise will have an opportunity to enjoy a one-night-only performance inspired by the new ship.

Featuring Susan Egan, the presentation will take place onboard the 2021-built vessel on October 7, 2026.

Sailing from Disney’s Port Canaveral homeport, the Wish is set to offer a four-night cruise to the Bahamas.

The itinerary is highlighted by visits to both of the company’s private islands: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

In addition to the Believe, Disney Cruise Line is building three additional ships at Meyer Werft between 2029 and 2031.

Slightly smaller than the Wish-class vessels, the new 105,000-ton ships will introduce a new design, which is currently under development.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, another Disney-branded vessel is scheduled to be delivered by Meyer Werft as part of a partnership between the company and Japan-based Oriental Land Co.

While additional details of the project are still to be announced, the Wish-class ship is scheduled to serve the Japanese market on a year-round basis.
