Celestyal’s North American sales team hosted its annual summit onboard the Celestyal Discovery, bringing the team together to plan its three-year commercial roadmap.
They also hosted top counselors from Avanti Destinations, America’s premier travel management specialists.
The Celestyal sales team and Avanti counselors from the United States, UK and Spain sailed from August 10-14 on the four-night “Iconic Greek Islands” cruise, calling at Mykonos, Greece; Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; Patmos, Rhodes, Crete and Santorini, Greece.
Celestyal said in a press release that it has partnered with Avanti to create authentically Mediterranean experiences aboard the Journey and Discovery.
Those onboard experienced the product firsthand and shared their thoughts with the Celestyal North America team, the press release said.
“This sailing was a great opportunity for us as a brand to strategically align our North American sales and focus on our three-year commercial roadmap,” said John Diorio, vice president and managing director, North America.
“Having members of the Avanti team onboard allowed us to road test our strategy to highlight our strengths as an ‘Authentically Mediterranean,’ experience-driven cruise line,” added Diorio.

Avanti Destinations, a travel management specialist located in Portland, Oregon since 1981, has worked with Travel Advisors to design and create custom travel experiences.
