Carnival Cruise Line has kicked off its 2028-29 season with expanded sailings from Long Beach, offering more ways to cruise to Mexico from the West Coast.

As the cruise company carrying the most guests from Long Beach, Carnival will offer three- to eight-day vacations aboard the Carnival Radiance and Carnival Panorama, with year-round itineraries ranging from quick Baja Mexico getaways to extended Mexican Riviera adventures.

Carnival said in a statement that the Carnival Radiance will continue offering a variety of short getaways to Baja Mexico with three-day itineraries visiting Ensenada, Mexico and four-day itineraries that also include a stop in Catalina Island.

During the holiday season, a five-day sailing departing December 21, 2028, will visit Catalina Island, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.

The Carnival Panorama will offer a series of six- and eight-day cruises to the Mexican Riviera. The six-day itineraries feature Cabo San Lucas, including two days in the destination, along with Ensenada. The eight-day cruises provide an extended Mexican Riviera experience with visits to Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.

The new sailings run from May 2028 through April 2029, providing a range of options to experience Mexico from Carnival’s key West Coast homeport in Long Beach.
