The new afternoon snack was added to the menu at Blueiguana Cantina on the Carnival Vista, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Firenze, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream and Carnival Panorama.

Guests can choose from three nacho bowl options: spicy Chili Con Carne, spicy Chicken Tinga and Refried Beans.

The menu also features a choice of toppings, such as pico de gallo, cheddar and jack cheese, crema fresca and cheese sauce.

Available only in the afternoons, the nachos are served between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on sea days or between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM on port days.

Heald noted that the new snack option is being rolled out to other vessels in Carnival’s 29-ship fleet. Passengers won’t be able to add pre-shredded cheese to the bowls, he added.

According to Carnival’s website, Blueiguana Cantina is currently available on 22 of its ships and serves Mexican cuisine.

First introduced in 2011, the complimentary venue offers a selection of tacos and burritos, along with a salsa bar.

Open for breakfast and lunch, the cantina also serves arepas and huevos rancheros, as well as freshly made tortillas filled with guests’ choice of chicken, pork or fish.

Alongside the Mexican cantina, the vessels also offer the Blueiguana Tequila Bar, described as a relaxing spot to enjoy traditional Mexican beverages.

The venue’s menu includes options like Mexican beer and several brands of tequila, plus a choice of margaritas and frozen cocktails.

Both the cantina and the tequila bar are located near the ships’ pool decks, offering a casual dining option for passengers during the day.
