Atlas Ocean Marks World Navigator’s Fifth Birthday

Atlas Ocean Voyages is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the World Navigator.

The ship embarked on her inaugural voyage on August 4, 2021 as the brand’s first ship, exploring the Mediterranean.

“Five years ago, World Navigator embarked on a remarkable journey that would shape the future of Atlas Ocean Voyages,” said James A. Rodriguez, President and Chief Executive Officer.

“What our team has built together is truly special—a luxury expedition brand defined not only by extraordinary destinations, but by extraordinary people. Every member of our shoreside and shipboard teams has contributed to creating experiences that inspire lifelong memories and lasting friendships. We are equally grateful to our loyal Atlas Yacht Club members, whose continued trust, enthusiasm and passion have helped us grow this adventure together.”

Over the past five years, two more ships have been introduced: the World Traveller and World Voyager.

What began as a single yacht exploring the Mediterranean has now evolved into exploration of destinations spanning Antarctica, the Arctic, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, South America, the Caribbean, the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Greenland, Iceland and the Canadian Arctic.

An expansion into Asia and Africa is scheduled to start in late 2028, with the debut of the Atlas Adventurer as what the company says will be the world’s first luxury expedition sailing yacht.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward with great excitement to welcoming Atlas Adventurer and expanding our horizons across Asia and Africa, while remaining true to the spirit of authentic discovery that has guided us from day one,” added Rodriguez.

Atlas Ocean underlined the loyalty of its guests as the greatest measure of its success, with nearly 30 percent of travelers returning to sail again.

The company has also launched its End of Summer Savings, available on select 2026–27 expeditions including Antarctica expeditions and 2027 Epicurean and Cultural Expeditions throughout the Mediterranean, Iberia, the British Isles and Northern Europe.

Through September 30, 2026, guests can save up to $6,779 per person, receive a $250 onboard credit, and enjoy bonus savings of up to $3,479 per guest plus an air credit of up to $1,000 per guest when booking the Best Available Fare.
